The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “On wearing a new dress, a person should recite the following prayer, ‘Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi kasaanee maa uwaaree bihee auratee wa atajammalu bihee fee hayaatee.’
Whoever recites the above prayer at the time of putting on a new dress, Allah will keep him under His care and protection in this life and in the life Hereafter.” [Tirmidhi]
The meaning of this Dua is: “Praise be to Allah who clad me with that with which I cover my shame, and with which I adorn myself in my life.”
To memorize and use this Dua when donning a new dress, in exchange for Allah’s care and protection in this life and the next, is an excellent bargain. May we avail ourselves of it. Aameen.
“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both. Guard over that which benefits you, seek Allah’s Assistance, and don’t lend yourself to things devoid of benefit, and if something befalls you, then don’t say ‘If I only would have done such and such,’ rather say ‘Allâh ordained this and He does what He wills’ [Qaddarallaahu wa maa shaa’ fa’al] for verily the phrase ‘If I would have’ makes way for the work of the Devil.”

“…O my Sustainer! Open up my heart [to Thy light], and make my task easy for me, and loosen the knot from my tongue so that they might fully understand my speech”
Surah Taha, 20:25-28
“If you had all relied on Allah (SWT) as you should rely on Him, then He would have provided for you as He provides for the birds, who wake up hungry in the morning and return with full stomachs at dusk.”
“And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah’s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.” [Surah Ali ‘Imran 3:103]
Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allaah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.”
(Ibn Maajah, Hadith 4031)
“Whoever says it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 8, 75 no318]
But if you do not – and you will never be able to – then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:24)
The person who recites Surah Kahf on Fridays, a light will appear for him from below the throne as high as the skies. This light will help him in the darkness of the day of resurrection . And all the sins which he may have committed from the last Friday till this Friday will be forgiven . ” scholars say that only minor sins will be forgiven since major sins require repentance (taubah)
