Surah Al-Fatir
“This is the Truth from your Lord. Now let him who will, believe; and let him who will, disbelieve. We have prepared a Fire for the wrong-doers whose billowing folds encompass them. If they ask for water, they will be served with a drink like dregs of oil that will scald their faces. How dreadful a drink, and how evil an abode!

Messenger of Allah (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The angels pray for blessing on a fasting person when people eat in his presence until they finish.” Perhaps he said, “Until they are full.” [at-Tirmidhi]
THE HUMAN BODY
A normal human body has about 5 billion capillaries whose total length, if stretched out, is about 950 kilometers.
Special secretion in the nasal mucous retains and sweeps out about 80-90of the micro-organisms that gain entry to the respiratory system directly or through dust.
One B cell can pump out more than 10 million antibody molecules an hour.
Our heart pumps about 43,000 liters of blood per day.
The simplest cells have roughly 2,000 different types of proteins.
If the information in DNA were put in the form of a book, these books put on top of each other would reach 70 meters high.
The DNA of a single cell contains the design of 206 bones, 600 muscles, a network of 10,000 auditory muscles, a network of 2 million optic nerves, 100 billion nerve cells, and 100 trillion cells in the body.
A brain cell is in constant interaction with others numbering up to 10,000. This communication network is far more complex than all the switchboards in the world.
The nucleus of each of the trillions of cells making up the human body includes a data bank big enough to fill a 900-volume encyclopedia.
The human eye works by some 40 different parts functioning together.
The retinal membrane at the back of the eye is made up of 11 different layers.
Each red cell can carry 300 million hemoglobin molecules. When we inhale, oxygen floods into about 300 million tiny chambers in our lungs.
If water were only slightly more viscous, it would be impossible for blood to be transported through the body’s capillary system.

The nasal bones are especially structured so that the air inhaled can go to the lungs only after circulating several times in the nose and thus warming up.

Even for a faint smile, 17 muscles have to work together at the same time.
A liver cell is specialized enough to perform more than 500 operations at a time.
The heart connects the 100 trillions cells in the human body one by one.
The heart beats approximately 100,000 times a day.
Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving {living} creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} for people of understanding.] Surah Al Baqarah{2:164}
True Story…
There was once a man who was an enemy to Islam. He had three famous questions that no person could answer. No Islamic scholar in Baghdad could answer his three questions thus he made fun of Islam in public. He constantly ridiculed Islam and the Muslims. One day a small boy, who’s age was 10, came along and heard the man yelling and screaming at Muslims in the street. He was challenging people openly to answer the three questions. The boy stood quietly and watched. He then decided that he would challenge the man. He walked up and told the man, “I will accept your challenge”.
The man laughed at the boy and ridiculed the Muslims even more by saying, “A ten year old boy challenges me. Is this all you people have to offer?”
But the boy patiently reiterated his stance. He would challenge the man, and with Allah`s help and guidance, he would put this to an end. The man finally accepted.
The entire city gathered around a small “hill” where open addresses were usually made. The man climbed to the top, and in a loud voice asked his first question.
“What is your God doing right now?”
The small boy thought for a little while and then told the man to climb down the hill and to allow him to go up in order to address the question.
The man says “What? You want me to come down?”
The boy says, “Yes. I need to reply, right?”
The man made his way down and the small boy, age 10, with his little feet made his way up.
This small child`s reply was “Oh Allah Almighty! You be my witness in front of all these people. You have just willed that a Kafir be brought down to a low level, and that a Muslim be brought to a high level!”
The crowd cheered and screamed “Takbir”….”Allah-hu-akbar!!!”
The man was humiliated, but he boldly asked his Second question… “What existed before your God?”
The small child thought and thought.
Then he asked the man to count backwards. “Count from 10 backwards.”
The man counted…”10, 9 ,8 , 7 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,0″
The boy asked, “What comes before 0 ?”
The man: “I don`t know…nothing.”
The boy: “Exactly. Nothing was before Allah, for He is eternal and absolute.”
The crowd cheered again….”Takbir!”….”Allah-hu-akbar!!!!”
The man, now completely frustrated, asked his final question. “In which direction is your Allah facing?”
The boy thought and thought.
He then asked for a candle. A candle was brought to him. The blessed child handed it to the man and asked him to light it.
The man did so and remarked, “What is this supposed to prove?”
The young boy asked, “In which direction is light from the candle going?”
The man responded, “It is going in all directions.”
The boy: “You have answered your own question. Allah is in all directions. He is everywhere. There is no where that He cannot be found.
“The crowd cheered again….”Takbir!”….”Allah-hu-akbar!!!”
The man was so impressed and so moved by the boy`s knowledge and spirituality, that he embraced Islam and became a student of the young boy.
So ended the debate.
Who was the young boy?
The young boy was one of our best scholars, Imam Abu Hanîfa (Rehmatulla Alayh).
He it is Who has appointed you vicegerent over the earth, and has exalted some of you over others in rank that He may try you in what He has bestowed upon you. [6:165]

SIGNS OF ALLAH
A smaller star than the Sun would cause the Earth to grow extremely cold, and a bigger star would scorch the Earth.
The Sun is traveling at the enormous speed of 720,000 kilometers an hour.
The surface temperature on Venus reaches as high as 450° C, which is sufficient to melt lead.
Winds blowing nearly 2,000 kilometers an hour blast across the surface of Neptune.
Saturn is composed entirely of gas and its density is less than water.
The difference between the daytime and nighttime sides of Mercury is as much as 1,000°C.
A reduction of just 10in the sun’s radiant energy would result in the earth surface’s being covered by layers of ice many meters thick.
Carbon is the basis of life on earth because all organic molecules (such as nucleic acids, amino acids, proteins, fats, and sugars) are formed by the combination of carbon with other elements in various ways.
Earth could not be a home for life if it were as near the sun as Venus is or as far from it as Jupiter.
The atmosphere protects the earth from the freezing cold of space, which is about minus 270oC.
A single sun burst is equivalent to 100 billion atomic bombs similar to the one dropped on Hiroshima.
We would need over five hundred years to count the number of atoms inside a tiny grain of salt.
Our sun has a surface temperature of about 6,000°C.
Every cloud contains thousands—sometimes millions—of tons of water in the form of vapor.
Every year, the amount of water that evaporates and that falls back to the Earth in the form of rain is “constant”: 513 trillion tons.
The pressure the mountains exert on the crust of the earth with their enormous mass prevents the magma movements in the core of the earth from reaching the earth and destroying the earth’s crust.
The speed of rain drops, regardless of their size, does not exceed 8 meters in a second.
The world has to rotate about its axis at a certain speed (1,670 km/h at the equator). If the earth’s speed of rotation were to exceed a certain limit, the atmosphere would grow extremely warm, increasing the gas molecules’ velocity of escape from the earth and causing the atmosphere to be dispersed in space and to vanish.
The distance between stars in our galaxy is about 30 million miles. If this distance was much less, planetary orbits would be destabilized.
The earth’s axis is inclined 23° 27′ to the plane of the ecliptic. IF this inclination did not exist, the temperature gradient between the poles and equator would be much higher than it is and the temperate zones wouldn’t be so temperate—or livable.
If air resistance were higher, our lungs would be forced to work harder to enable us to breathe.
If surface gravity were stronger, atmosphere would retain too much ammonia and methane.
If surface gravity were weaker, planet’s atmosphere would lose too much water.
If oxygen to nitrogen ratio in the atmosphere were larger, advanced life functions would proceed too quickly.
If plants didn’t release oxygen, the oxygen-breathers would eventually use up all the free oxygen in the atmosphere and that would be the end of them.
If your body’s temperature were to fall just a few degrees, many of its vital functions would fail.
If the surface of our world had less water than it does land, the temperature differences between night and day would have been much greater.
Verily! Gossip sets fires. Gossip can have the potential to kill- socially and emotionally. No wonder Allah described it similar to eating the flesh of your own brother. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful [49:12]
He is Allah: there is no god but He: the King, the Holy, the All-Peace, the Giver of security, the Overseer, the Most Mighty, the Overpowering, the All-Great. Exalted be He from whatever they associate with Him. (59:23)
