Allah’s Apostle (sallallähu alaihi wasallam) said, “Whenever you go to your bed (for sleeping) say, ‘O Allah! I have surrendered myself over to you and have turned my face towards You, and leave all my affairs to You and depend on You and put my trust in You expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment. There is neither fleeing from You nor refuge but with You. I believe in the Book (Qur’an) which You have revealed and in Your Prophet (Muhammad) whom You have sent.’ If you then die on that night, then you will die as a Muslim, and if you wake alive in the morning then you will receive the reward.”

Sunnah according to AL-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences
Literally means well trodden path(Tariqah) in Arabic.
Are those Abrahamic practices and rituals that were adopted and revived (Hajj) by the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), in some cases after modifications (Fatiha in salaah) and additions (Eidayaan), and instituted among his followers as integral part of God’s religion.
Sunnan have been transferred and established by the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), through practical demonstration to his Companions.
From the companions, these practices have been transmitted uninterrupted through successive generations of Muslims with consensus and practical perpetuation to date.
They have reached us through the same mechanism of history. The Qur’an has reached us by verbal (documentary) transmission whilst the Sunnah by practical transmission.
What is Hadith?
Hadith literally means a saying or something new. In Islamic terminology, it is defined as the individual-to-individual narratives ascribed to the Prophet (pbuh) regarding his sayings, actions, expressed or tacit approvals, his life history and personal description.
It includes
Life history of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), including his meetings with people, important events in his time e.g. Holy wars as narrated by his followers.
Record of the Prophet Mohammad’s (pbuh) everyday life, rituals and routines, these are those things that he liked but did not authorise their initiation as essential part of religion. These records reveal the Prophet’s (pbuh) excellent example (Uswa Al Hasana) in carrying out the directives of Islam.
Record of answers to questions and explanations given by the Prophet (pbuh) to his followers.
Record of any explanations about commandments in the Qur’an and the Sunnah by the Prophet (pbuh) to his followers

Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects), you (O Muhammad “salallahu alayhi’walsam) have no concern in them in the least. Their affair is only with Allâh, Who then will tell them what they used to do.(6:159)

He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. (59:23)

Among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is he who, if entrusted with a Cantar (a great amount of wealth, etc.), will readily pay it back; and among them there is he who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless you constantly stand demanding, because they say: “There is no blame on us to betray and take the properties of the illiterates (Arabs).” But they tell a lie against Allâh while they know it.[Ali-Imran 3:75]

And give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [of your own] for the good [of theirs]. And do not consume their properties into your own. Indeed, that is ever a great sin. Surah An-Nisā’ (4:2)

Allahumma-ghfirli dhanbi wa-wassi’li fi dari wa-barik li fi rizqi.
“O Allah! Forgive my sins, give me abundance in my home and bless me in what you have given me.”
The Prophet (S) once explained that our sins are washed away when we make wudu just as dead leaves fall from a tree when it is shaken, if we take care to make our wudu properly and with a sincere intention. As we put aside our work for a few minutes in order to pray, we ask Allah to bless whatever wordly activities we are leaving for his sake.

Hope everyone is doing great by the grace of the Almighty allah.
As most of you may know, our community in Markham Ontario has acquired a land for the Masjid and we have gotten the approval by the city for the site plan. A group of residents from this neighborhood don’t like the idea of a Mosque and have started a campaign to reverse the decision of the city by citing traffic, parking, against cultural heritage etc. They have petitioned the Mayor and the councilors to reverse their decision and there is a serious threat that they may be able to derail the project or delay it.
There is a petition that has been started to show our support, please sign it and forward to all your friends and families, also post in any social media websites that you can.
http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/say-yes-to-the-mosque-on-16th-avenue-no-to-bigotry.html
The people opposing it have started a petition and have already gotten over 3500 signatures and are presenting this to the city every week. They are spending their time, money and effort to oppose this project, lets us at least show our support by signing the petition.
The masjid will be built with or without our support, it is up to us to be counted among those that have done all that it takes to support it. Please sign and forward this to others. I have about 50 people on this list, if you can each send it to 50 other people inshallah in a few days we will be able to exceed the opposing petition and present it to the city.
Wassalam

And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah , and remember Allah often that you may succeed.(62:10)
